Private Health Fund and Medicare Rebates
Many of the Private Health Funds provide rebates for professional dietitian services. The level of cover you have with your service will determine the refund you receive back from your consultation. You will need to contact your Health Care Service to determine this.
Medicare provides rebates on the dietitians fee, for 5 visits per calendar year, to those people with Enhanced Primary Care Plans (EPC). This plan must be set up with your GP before your nutrition consultation with the dietitian. If you qualify, please bring your Enhanced Primary Care plan with you to your appointment. My Medicare provider number is 4004402L.
Consultations
Initial appointment (1 ½ hours) $150
Initial appointment (1 hour) $120
Follow up appointments 30-60 minutes $100
Follow up appointments 30 minutes or less $60
Food nutrient intake analysis $150
Payment Options
Please organize your payment via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) 48 hours before your appointment. Details will be provided upon booking. Please use your name as the reference when completing the EFT.
Or please pay by cash or cheque upon provision of service on the day of your appointment. Eftpos facilities are not available.
Cancellation Policy
At least 24 hours notice is required if you cancel or change your booking, or the fees will apply.
